RUN FIGHT HIDE - SURVIVING AN ACTIVE SHOOTER
This video training was developed by READY TEXAS with a grant from the Department of Homeland Security and is promoted by the FBI.  The training features a realistic active shooter emergency and may be disturbing.  SCU does not own the rights to the material; however, we provide access to the video at the recommendation of the risk management division of NCMIC.

Published on Jan 25, 2013 by the Department of Homeland Security, Options for Consideration demonstrates possible actions to take if confronted with a active shooter scenario. The instructive video reviews the choices of evacuating, hiding, or, as an option of last resort, challenging the shooter. The video also shows how to assist authorities once law enforcement enters the scene.
Surviving an Active Shooter - Ohio State

Produced and release by Ohio State University, this video is an excellent resource.  Even though it is specific to their campus, the tactics can apply at any campus.
