President's Welcome

Dear New Students:

On behalf of the Board of Regents, faculty, staff, and students at SCU, I welcome you with open arms!  We are thrilled to have you with us.

When you join the SCU community, you are joining a tradition of excellence. As leaders in evidence-based integrative healthcare education and collaborative practice, our mission is to train you to be competent, caring, and successful healthcare practitioners. You are embarking on a student-centered interprofessional education that is meant to be transformative—academically, socially, professionally, and personally.

In the coming weeks, I encourage you to explore the campus, get to know faculty and staff, and nurture your relationships with fellow students.

I extend my best wishes for a successful and rewarding year. I look forward to meeting you!
