Ibeth Acevedo from Concordia University, "I’m really looking forward to gaining experience creating and facilitating workshops while continuing to strengthen my skills in student support services at SCU. Most of my experience has been working with a K–12 population, so I’m excited to support a different group of students and grow in a higher education setting. This opportunity feels like a meaningful next step in my professional growth."

Vanessa Llamas from Concordia University, As an SCU counseling intern, I'm most looking forward to supporting students holistically as they work towards accomplishing their goals. Most of my experience is in K-12, but I'm passionate about retention at the collegiate level and excited to work with university students again and help them succeed. In addition to helping students of all backgrounds and abilities, I hope to bring a new perspective to the team and grow my skill set so I can better counsel students in the future."
