Meet Our New Counseling Interns! 

Ryan T. Cusick from Grand Canyon University. "As an SCU counseling intern, I look forward to building meaningful relationships with students and supporting them through academic and social-emotional challenges. My primary focus will be on providing student support through academic integrity, social-emotional skill development, and behavioral interventions."

Karina DeLaCruzBenitez from Concordia University, "I am excited to work with SCU students as a counseling intern and support them as they balance their academic and personal goals. My focus will be on encouraging growth, listening with care, and connecting students with the resources they need to succeed".

Ibeth Acevedo from Concordia University, "I’m really looking forward to gaining experience creating and facilitating workshops while continuing to strengthen my skills in student support services at SCU. Most of my experience has been working with a K–12 population, so I’m excited to support a different group of students and grow in a higher education setting. This opportunity feels like a meaningful next step in my professional growth."
