As part of this commitment, our Counseling Program is proud to offer students the opportunity to meet with dedicated counseling interns who are here to help you navigate the challenges of student life.

Meet Our New Counseling Interns! 

Shalom Ramirez from Concordia University, "I’m looking forward to connecting with SCU students and supporting them through the ups and downs of school, especially since I know firsthand how much the students are juggling as full-time students. I’m also excited to gain experience working in a higher education setting and explore new tools and resources that can make a difference in students’ lives."

Karina DeLaCruzBenitez from Concordia University, "I am excited to work with SCU students as a counseling intern and support them as they balance their academic and personal goals. My focus will be on encouraging growth, listening with care, and connecting students with the resources they need to succeed".

Gisselle Quiroz from California State University, San Bernardino, "I am so excited to grow as a counseling professional by working with individuals out in the real world here with SCU. I am honored to be able to listen to people’s stories, and I hope to provide a safe and supportive therapeutic environment with everyone I come across.
