The Student Assistance Program (SAP) by All One Health is a resource to help our students who are experiencing difficulties related to life changes or personal stress.

This can include stress related to school, anxiety, depression, marital and family concerns, emotional upsets, alcohol or drug abuse, or other needs, such as child/elder care, stress management, special needs support, and wellness.

  • 211 United Way: Local 211 specialists are one call away from providing reliable resources you may need to receive from your local community. This could be for food resources, housing needs, healthcare information, etc.
  • CHADD: Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD) serve to support and give evidence-based information on ADHD for individuals and family members.
  • The Steve Fund: National organization focused on supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of young people of color by providing and promoting programs to understand and assist young people.
  • The Jed Foundation: Nonprofit that provides support for emotional health and prevents suicide for young adults by giving skills and support throughout the programs provided.

  • Renew Bariatrics: This guide aims to help college students improve their health and set themselves up for success physically, mentally, and academically. From nutrition and exercise to sexual and mental health, we discuss the ins and outs of maintaining your health while in college.  

 

SAMHSA National Helpline

  • The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA) operates a free helpline to provide people with answers about common mental health conditions, including substance abuse disorders. The helpline can also help people navigate treatment options.

Insurance and Medical Resources

SCU does not provide students health care coverage or insurance. It is the students responsibility to secure the proper health care coverage they need. Your program may or may not require their students to have medical insurance; regardless of requirement, SCU highly recommends all students have health insurance.
