Explosion, Violent Accident, Aircraft Crash

In the event a violent accident or explosion occurs on campus that renders an area unsafe:

  1. Immediately take cover under tables, desks, or other objects with will give protection against glass and flying debris.
  2. DROP, COVER,  HOLD
  3. After the effects have subsided, notify Campus Safety at x333.
  4. Give your name, location, and nature of emergency.
  5. Follow building coordinator's instructions for evacuation.
  6. Assist others when possible and safe to do so, especially the injured and disabled.
  7. Keep walkways clear for emergency personnel.
  8. DO NOT RETURN TO A BUILDING UNTIL TOLD TO DO SO.
